Day 1 Preparing for the Longest day

Today is potentially going to be the longest day of my life with tweedle dee and teedle dum in tow. I was up at 7.30 by the time I go to bed in Carlsbad south of LA it will be approx 26 hours as we land in LA at 2PM on Saturday the 6th December but we left Auckland at 22.45PM as the kids said how does that work??

This morning was full on as we had to Farm out the animals (Pardon the pun) we had to clean out the cages etc. We then went to Trudy's (annas manager) to drop off Rosie, Milly and the mad Rabbit Smokey. I do not believe he will be with us when we return.

We had to tidy the house so make sure Connollys (Kathy, Kerry and Chris that you leave our house in good order.

Who is the wimpy kid one two or none.
Cody and Thrain from the hobbit
Sitting rather than rocking around the christmas tree.

Well it certainly was a long 6th of December this year.

We did the mandatory watching of movies. Both the boys threw up.

The flight was great and early though customs at LAX was a yawnwn!!

We got a truly american car its a dodge caravan its like a minibus and served us well when we travelled 2hrs south in busy traffic it was a Saturday too.

We arrived at the Carlsbad By the Sea Resort and immediately went for a dip in the pool and spa. The mexicans thought we were mad going in. We thought it was tropical

The outlet mall is opposite so we strolled over there to see what was going down. The boys decided on rubys dinner

Traditional American fare!!!Burgers and Hot dogs. The only down was that the weightresses werent on rollerskates a la Johnny Rockets.

amazing that only one day has occurred.

Going to San Diego Safari Park tomorrow. Should be good!!

We are going to bed now it is 6.36 on Sunday Night in Kiwiland. The longest day spanned in NZ terms 7.30 AM on the 6th December to 6.30PM on 7th December.

Signing out Eilian
