It's back to me and Anna writing Dissertations is not my style so I will be as brief as I can.
Today we got up at the usual time and headed up the hill minus Anna who was having a well deserved rest. Hope the Voltarin gel was working.
After dropping the kids of at the Ski lesson which they do enjoy I might add, I went up to the highest elevation in Flaine. This is very much a resort. it felt like I spent hours either on a gondola or a chair lift. Anyway I had a great blat this morning which was great though I did scratch the base of my board.
The skiing here in these conditions is unusual for this time of the year it is more like spring skiing conditions in NZ.
I was back or so I thought in plenty of time to get the boys from their lesson hmmmm I took a wrong turn!! And then might as well have had a donkey take me back up the hill a slow slow chair lift that broke down three times.I was three minutes late in the end.
When I got back I took the boys they have improved so much I was proud of them.
Then Anna had a lesson booked and as she was Injured I got the lesson. David the instructor was excellent and I have changed my technique based on his tips and recommendations. Went up in a gondola to les grandes plattiers 2480m did a multitude of runs mostly red both in the morning and with th instructor.
Got back at 5pm and Anna had afternoon tea at the ready from the local patisserie hmmmmm.
We then went out for dinner at a really cool French eatery and had such delights as cheese fondue, beautiful Duck etc.
Cheese fondue
Our turn
